Army Scholarships
Army Scholarships are a great way to pay for your education, and they aren't just for Freshmen! There are many scholarship programs available, find out which is right for you:

If you are an Active Duty Soldier and would like to begin or complete a college education click here.

Monthly Stipend Values:At Cornell University's current tuition rates this total scholarship package is worth more than $149,000 dollars! At Elmira College, the school will supplement our full tuition scholarship with an additional grant for living expenses making the package total value more than $165,000!
1st Year: $300 per month
2nd Year: $350 per month
3rd Year: $450 per month
4th Year: $500 per month

Be a U.S. citizen
Be between ages 17 and 31
Have a high school cummulative GPA of at least 2.50
Have a high school diploma or equivalent
Score a minimum of 920 on the SAT or 19 on the ACT
Meet physical standards
Agree to accept a commission and serve in the Army on Active, Reserve, or National Guard Duty

Have a college cummulative GPA of at least 2.50

Green to Gold Scholarship Benefits:In order to recieve a Green to Gold Scholarship, you must meet the following requirements:
Tuition or room and board support
Additional money for textbooks, supplies, and equipment
A monthly stipend increasing each academic year
If qualified, Mongomery G.I. Bill / Army College Fund benifits

U.S. Citizen
Less than 31 years of age on 31 December of the year you complete all commissioning and baccalaureate degree requirements
Cannot have been convicted in a domestic violence crime
Have a minimum of 2 years Active Duty as well as 3 months of active duty for every one month of specialized training (waiverable)
GT score of 110 or greater
Pass the APFT within the last six months with a score of 180 or higher (60/60/60)
Be a High School Graduate or equivalent
Cumulative High School or College GPA of 2.5
Letter of Acceptance to Cornell or a partnership school
Letter of Acceptance from the Professor of Military Science at Cornell
Favorable National Agency Check
DODMERB Medical Qualification
Be eligible for Reenlistment
Not be a conscientious objector
No more than 3 dependents including spouse (waiverable)
SMP Benefits:In order to recieve a Guaranteed Reserve Forces Scholarship you must meet the following requirements:
Earn a commission while going to college, and serve in a Reserve Component Unit
Hands-on management/leadership training
$450-500/month ROTC stipend plus $242/month drill pay
An opportunity to win a two-year or three-year full tuition scholarship
